Parents and their children are expected to sign the
Philosophy and Expectations of student conduct form which highlights what
RiverDale expects of its students. The consequences by and large are determined
by the school Discipline Committee and are in conformity to the indiscipline issue.
For minor offences, students are given enough opportunities to change their ways.
For major offences, firm decisions are made to deter students from repeating such an offence.
In all cases, counseling support is provided to these students.
All the students are made aware of our expectations and encouraged to help create an environment of mutual trust, support and caring. RiverDale is known for the healthy community feeling that is prevalent amongst our staff and students and the indiscipline issues are rare and limited to very few students. Staff are expected to act as role models in every way. |
