“Music is an important means to the education and development of humanity”.
Music, as a soothing art form, is encouraged at RiverDale! Our music Studio is an example of our dedication to the value of music for students. RiverDale has a fully equipped large music hall with 8 sound-proof individual practice rooms attached to it. Students are also encouraged to form their own band groups.
A good number of students sit for the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music Examinations (UK) every year.
Music
Students are taught western dances which includes jive, waltz , etc. Their talent is exhibited during cultural functions.
Dance
These activities are encouraged in the form of clubs and inter house activities. A school play is enacted once a year at the Annual Function.
Theatre and Drama
Inter house and Inter school competitions provide opportunities to our students to express their views and display their talents as speakers.
Debates and Elocution
This activity fosters a feeling of unity and breaks all boundaries of cultural/religious/communal differences as their voices resound in unison
Choir
Over 15 different activities are offered to the students in the form of clubs on Saturdays. Some of these are Chess , Badminton, Cooking , Trekking , etc.
